Home Project Agent ("we," "us") is a service of Guru Cultivation LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email, address and ZIP code, project details and photos, the days and times you're available, and your messages to your scheduling assistant.
- Communications: texts and calls between your scheduling assistant and the companies you choose, including call recordings and transcripts.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and advertising identifiers collected through cookies and similar tools.
- Consent records: a record of the consent you gave when you submitted our form.
How we use it
- To match you with home improvement companies and schedule, confirm and remind you of estimate appointments.
- To run your scheduling assistant, which answers calls and texts from the companies you choose and relays their questions to you.
- To improve our service, prevent fraud, keep records of consent, and comply with law.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
How we share it
- With the companies you choose: we share your project details, address and availability so they can prepare for and book your estimate. Until your estimate, they reach you through a Home Project Agent phone number and email address that forward to your scheduling assistant. After your estimate takes place, or earlier if you ask us to, the companies you met receive your direct phone number and email to follow up. If you don't respond to scheduling messages, we may share your contact details with those companies so they can reach you directly.
- With service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, telecommunications, speech and AI processing, and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your information.
- For legal reasons, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Text messaging: mobile numbers and text message opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing described above to schedule the appointments you request is not marketing sharing.
Pros in our network pay Home Project Agent for appointments, including for placement.
AI and call recording
Your scheduling assistant uses artificial intelligence. Calls with the assistant may be recorded and transcribed for scheduling accuracy, quality and dispute resolution, and the assistant says so at the start of calls.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts from that number. See our SMS Terms.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing support@myhomeprojectagent.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.
- Control cookies through your browser settings.
Retention and security
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, keep consent records and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children
Our service is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
